Hi,
I need to move water from my technical wetland to my main pond. The main pond is about 30 cm above the technical wetland and 5 meters away.
Is it possible to lift the water 30cm above the technical wetland so that it can reach the main pond?
thanks!
Can an airlift lift water above water level?
Re: Can an airlift lift water above water level?
Hello,
You can, but at that point it will no longer be efficient at all. In this scenario I would advise a normal water pump.
See this video for reference:
Discharge head has to be lower than 10cm in my opinion, for any practical use. With any discharge head you rapidly start losing efficiency. It's not what the system is designed for.
I hope this helps!
