Where to get Secoh SLL 20?

Post by bryanangler » 09 May 2018, 23:07

I am going to try building my first airlift, but I cannot seem to find this Secoh SLL20 pump so often mentioned (I am in the USA).

I am wondering if anyone knows where i can buy these online, or if there is some other model of pump that achieves the same result (with wattage and flow) as the SLL20?

This is a common problem, the Secoh SLL-20 is no longer produced sadly. They have a new line called Secoh JDK. These have yet to be tested by us, but I have read the experiences of some users on the Belgian forum that state these pumps are supposedly more energy efficient, but have less power. If I recall correctly the JDK-20 is not as powerful as the SLL-20. To be sure, I would advise to try the JDK-30 with the standard 110mm Airlift for now.
I will make a new topic with this info so other users can find this easily as it can be a bit confusing.

Thank you for the update on the SLL20. I will try looking for a JDK-30, but so far the smallest 115v model i can find in the US is the JDK-40.

It would be interesting to know if the JDK-30 is capable of the same yield (watt / m3) as the SLL20 with their flowmeter test :)
